polaroid fade
Emerging from the vibrant music scene of South Jersey, Polaroid Fade burst onto the scene just over a year ago, though their musical journey began long before. Led by vocalist and songwriter Nicoletta, whose evocative vocals and introspective lyrics set the tone, the band's sound is a captivating blend of old-school new wave and contemporary alternative rock. Guitarist Tyler, with his years of multi-instrumental experience, weaves intricate melodies and infectious riffs. Their music, described by Steve Feinberg as a fresh take on the old wave of new wave, transports listeners to the neon-lit streets of '80s Glasgow. Since the release of their debut single "Any Other Way" in 2022, Polaroid Fade has been steadily building a dedicated fanbase and making waves in the local scene with subsequent releases like "Bliss," "Worry About Me Later," and "Fischer Garden." Now, poised to take their sound on the road, the band looks forward to sharing their unique blend of past and present with audiences everywhere, while continuing to push the boundaries of their musical exploration with a new release set for fall 2024.
SONIC BLUME
“Sonic Blume have created a dream-pop world of their own, where their melodic tendencies flow in the direction of an ethereal soundscape to bask within.” (Earmilk Magazine, Sean Kayden). Sonic Blume is Max Connery, James Waltzack and Noah Sullivan. Influenced by Joy Division, DIIV, The Smiths, and my bloody valentine, they released their debut EP while still in high school (Nov 2017), and were awarded The Asbury Park Music Award for Best Young New Artist. Their second EP “Beach Karma” (July 2018) brought the band greater recognition, with college and international radio airtime. The EP was listed on “You Don’t Know Jersey’s” “Best NJ Records of 2018” and the band appeared on NJ.com’s “Top Bands to Hear in 2019” and “Top Bands to Hear in 2020.” This forward momentum led Sonic Blume to signing with Asbury Park’s new independent label Shore Points Records. The band released their debut LP “We’re Drifting Further Apart, Aren’t We?” in 2021, which was recorded and produced by Erik Kase Romero of The Front Bottoms (Lorde/Gaslight Anthem). Their debut LP is a collection of songs which create a dreamy world of escapism. It explores themes of longing, separation and isolation. They recently finished up their first East Coast Tour 2022 and are currently recording their next LP. Sonic Blume has performed with national touring artists The Happy Fits, flipturn, Tor Miller and joe p.
Jillian Ludwig
Jillian Ludwig’s love of music was evident at a very young age. While starting with vocal instruction, Jill learned to play various instruments including saxophone, oboe, piano, guitar and bass. Beginning at Lakehouse Music Academy in two bands, Arcadia and Good Morning Beautiful, as a singer, guitar and bass player, Jill also performed solo at venues around the Jersey Shore and also played with Kevian Kraemer on bass. She was also very involved in her school bands and with music ministries at church. At age 17, she started her own project called “Playing it Forward” where she would perform and raise funds to donate back to those in need within the musical community she loved. Jillian became a music teacher herself at Lakehouse, and upon high school graduation, she went on to study Music Business at Belmont University in Nashville. She had dreams of having a career in the music industry, as a recording artist and producer. Jill had begun to write and play her own music at the time of her tragic passing, including this song “How Long” which is now treasured as one of her last creative works.
